Here is my violet patch, two different types of violets for a nice area to grow. I have lots of rocks and some tyres for the violets to grow and spread out upon. So hopefully this will add some nice colours along with the lavender.

>Tyre potatoes

Within these two tyres holds some of what we hope are delicious potatoes, we were told to plant some potatoes in a tyre and then each time the leaves popped up to cover them with more soil. We’ve been doing this and now we’re. two tyres high and if you look carefully you’ll be able to see the tip of some leaves near the centre. We’ll keep going for about three to four tyres for the potatoes to grow in and if it works out as well as we’re told next year early and late potatoes will be planted in some tyres and a few in the ground!
At the moment I can’t remember what kind of potatoes they are but they’re growing quite well and I can’t wait until we dig them up and have home-grown baked potatoes for tea!
